What a fine weekend.
Big love to my seven Eurobowl colleagues. A seventh star is a magnificent achievement (sorry Spain!) and as ever, the team spirit was fantastic. I had a blast. Thanks and well done to David; fine captaincy throughout and table one almost all weekend, leading from the front. Congratulations to Pete, four points (in old money) on debut is not to be sniffed at. Everyone contributed to the win; I have no idea if this is true, but my three points feels like one of our better worst returns?
We always say TE is all of us rather than just the eight, and Wales was pretty special for me as we had so many English attendees. Every time I went over to see how the Eur Open Team England were getting on, everyone was having a good giggle and getting into the spirit, and I felt like I could move for Englishmen that I knew. I hope you have all caught the bug and are already thinking about Poland.
On to Dornbirn for now, but any ideas how we cram seven stars onto the shirt?
