* Whilst on the subject of Blood Bowl, we just received the master
models for a new Blood Bowl Ogre team. The models are a collaborative effort by veteran Citadel designer Aly Morrison and rising star Mark Harrison. Aly was one of the members of the original design team for the very first edition of Blood Bowl, along with myself and Marc Gascoigne (who now heads up our Black Library publishing division), and he and Mark have come up with a set of really superb multi-part models that really capture the 'feel' of a Blood Bowl Ogre player. This just leaves me with the challenge of coming up with a set of balanced rules for fielding Ogre teams, in time for the release of the models next year. Gulp!
(And just to make you jealous, there's 2 1st ed, 8 2nd ed and 3 3e Morgs sitting in my cabinet, when the new models come out we'll be able to have all-Ogre games!)

I've probably got, geez, I don't know 200(?) figs for BB and ALL are 2nd Ed.. My personal favorite from the little guys is the snotling sitting in the helmet and my troll with the skull shaped gauntlet.
I should probably get some of the 3rd Ed stuff, but I'm not sure. Maybe Chaos Dwarves. I've got about 3-4 figs from the 2nd Ed, but not enough for a pure team. Which figs do you guys recommend.

Coach Tad Bloodthrasher after he tried to get his Starplayer to get his mind back on the game. (He was lucky. He only lost an arm).

Oddly enough, I love the 3E Chaos Dwarves and hate the 3E Dark Elves. 2E Dark Elves are some of my favorites, even though they're almost universally despised by everyone else, according to that poll on that other thread. Of course, the 2E Skaven and 2E (wood) Elves were the best BB figures ever.Ancalagon wrote:I hate hats on 3rd ed CD so I won't buy them. 3rd ed Dwarves are nice and Dark elves too. Skaven and wood elves were better on 2nd ed.
