GalakStarscraper besides the 'did you know...' on page 16 in the LRB5 is there any other notion of Helmut Wulf existence, perhaps from the Star Players Companion book or any other?
Being one of my favorite Starplayers I concidering writing a background for him. But I also want to pay homeage to what is already written for him.

Once Helmut Wulf was a real nice guy: talkative, a considerate host, begging your pardon before punching your nose, but all that changed after the massacre at the Talabheim Meteorbowl. Helmut Wulf’s team, the Bright Crusaders, accepted to play a show game for orphans against the Dwarf Warhammerers. The only thing the organizers didn’t consider was the slightly differing concept of the Warhammerers about show games. They didn’t just bring their best game but also no less than three deathrollers, four chainsaws, one flame thrower and enough explosives to blow up the entire stadium twice. And so they did during halftime, which not only ended the match, but also that little that was left of the Crusaders (and the orphans, although the public agreed it could have been worse).
Long after the match when the stadium staff came to clean up the mess, they heard a groaning below one of the piles of rubble. When they shifted the rubble, a roughly battered, but still breathing Helmut Wulf emerged. One of the staff members who dug him up reported that his face had lost all abilities of human expression and his eyes had turned into a solid black: deep, cold and plain. Furthermore they said that Wulf walked through the ruin of the stadium as if in a trance, until he came upon the body of an unfortunate Dwarf who’s hands were still holding onto a chainsaw. Wulf wrenched it out of the Dwarf’s stiff hands, pulled the cord, until the engine came roaring to life, and with it, an unearthly smile on his face. With that he left the place which is visited by thousands of devoted fans until today and honoured as Helmut Wulf’s place of birth (Entrance for children is free, two gold crowns for adults. Closed on weekends for sport and on Mon., Tue. and Wed. for maintenance).
Ever since, Wulf has been a rarely socializing, constantly glaring man who only seems to smile when his chainsaw awakes roaring to life. And although his solitary ways made him an outcast at every party, it amazingly helped him to get along with teams humans normally don’t, such as Vampires or Lizardman. And Nuffle knows he needs the money to maintain his mansions.
