Do you want to organise the 2014 legacy team?
Happy New Year everyone!
With 2014 now underway, we need to think about the 2014 legacy team. I am happy to organise again, but thought it only fair to offer up the opportunity to anyone else who might be interested.
For anyone considering it, be aware that its like herding cats, takes a bit of time, costs a bit of cash & TFF'ers need regular chasing!
So - anyone want to give it a go?

For those that are not aware, can you explain what this legacy team thin is?

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Re: Do you want to organise the 2014 legacy team?
Good idea! The principle behind the legacy team is that interested participants paint and donate a single model to a team. Once all models are received, a draw is held and the lucky winner gets the team.
In previous years the race, paint scheme & basing have been decided by public vote. Since 2003, there has been a different TFF legacy team race every year (check out the stickied thread):
2003 Goblins
2004 Chaos
2005 Skaven
2006 Dark Elves
2007 Chaos Dwarves
2008 Chaos Pact
2009 Necromantic
2010 Humans
2011 Orcs
2012 Underworld
2013 Halflings
The organisers would need to sort out the polls, sign up thread, act as a central point to receive the models & send out the finished team to the winner.

+1. Never change a winning team. I have done previous legacy teams and it is a hard job to do. And you, axiom, are doing a great job with them.howlinggriffon wrote:I'm more than happy if axiom ran it again. Why change a winning formula?

Thanks for the thumbs up guys! I am more than happy to repeat the organisation, but feel the opportunity should be there for a change if anyone fancies a bash at it

Lets give it another couple of days before we start voting on the race...although at this point it looks like a strong vote of confidence for a 3rd term
