Resurrecting the Pick'n'Mix - should I?

Post by Darkson »

I've (and Moody and Skaffen) have had a few people asking about whether the Pick'n'Mix will be run again. So that's the question.

Should I bother to try to run the P'n'M next year (run, not play, before anyone asks!). Just fact-finding for the moment, as have done nothing towards it.

IF it happens it would be the first or second weekend of November (already checked with Block as to whether he would have a problem with me stealing a date close to the ACT).

Rules would stay largely the same, but team or single?

Have your say.

I went to the one a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone if it were on, but the problem I have is that is it too close to the Eurobowl weekend.

I could put a team together for a Pick 'n' Mix.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

If you mean by the better half, yes, I think she's just realised that me not doing BB tournaments means I'm home more weekends, so I think she'll be pleased to get rid of me.

If you mean something else, you'd better explain, as I'm not getting your meaning.

You got it right first time, but I was also thinking of your year off?

Run, not play as I said in the OP.

Would be looking for 3 volunteers (from within the club first) to be a spare team.

Seems enough interest to at least look into the possibilities of getting the hall.

Does anyone know the date of EB yet?

Ah, will be at least a fortnight after EB then, maybe even 3 weeks, depending on availability.
