Given my limited schedule it'll likely be you, Sann, and even then I'll likely be feeding a baby at you :)

I'll be in touch on the new year to try and figure out a date. I probably ought to tell my cohosts too at some point.

Don't worry, I'd never expect you to answer for him.
Actually, I'd understand if he didn't answer anyway.
I just wanted to express my feelings that his post sounded a bit odd to me.
Regash,

Sorry I had something else I needed to write Sann for so I told him my idea while I was talking that he could put in place if he became President. If anyone else wins ... I'm more than happy for Sann (or myself) to share the concept with that NAF President and still support it.

So no conspiracy. I will publicly say I voted for Sann as I personally think he could make some things happen (or at least I hope he could). However ... this was more of me needing to email Sann about something else and sharing an extra thought on the NAF at the same time. But it was an idea that could make the NAF have more value of members that do not attend tournaments (to my mind at least).

Sorry was not trying to be all cloak and dagger ... just not something to discuss in full at this time ... just wanted to say on this thread that some ideas have been suggested.

In addition to Regash's well voiced concerns, some of us vote our conscience in how we spend our money. Given Greedy W@nkers violent, virulent, and contemptuous attacks on the BB community, any organization (and its officers) must show dissassociation or my money stays in pocket....

Do the NAF have anything to do with the 2016 Blood Bowl World Championship?

What do you folks think of NAF sponsored scheduled round robin leagues on Fumbbl & Cyanide?
May be mergers with existing leagues.

What about higher TV res tournaments on Fumbbl? Swiss or KO.

Hi Koadah,
I'm part of the backstage organising crew (made up of representatives of different leagues), and am working with Netheos to see what sort of involvement would be appropriate.

Higher TV res tournaments should definitely be a thing - Purplegoo seems pretty open to ideas! All the res tourneys so far have been tied to a tournament ruleset, so one way would be to find a tournament that traditionally has a higher TV (except, I don't know any above 1250...). Or we expand in 2016, which I can see happening too!

Very open to ideas, basically.

Mike

That si what I thought but you have to admit that your post sounded a bit conspirative.

Curiosity killed the cat and although I'm no feline I really, really would love to know what would make this wonder happen.

Let me put it this way: As much as a hardcore NAF opposition I seem to be, I really like to be involved in projects or organisations, even spend my spare time helping out as much as I can with what little computer knowledge I have and my ability to use the english and german language as well. So, yeah, make me wanna join, guys! :orc:

I would put a link to an article for each points of this list.

Example: it would be nice to have
(2) a short article about the history of the Naf-gift :)
(3) an article about the naf-trophee (and explaining the new rule to allocate naf-trophee to a tourney)
(4) for the point 4, it's one of the historic problem of the naf, this famous/legendary(?) "sleeping treasure collected since years"
etc

I'm sure I read somewhere that those funds are used as a lending service to help large tourneys get going. Amongst other things.

Just a thought...
Shouldn't there be a list of NTOs, RTOs and other people you can talk to, including their contact details, available even for non-members?
And if it exists, shouldn't it be linked in that article?

Another thought...
I seem to remember that Kithor is mentioned as RTO somewhere for Germany.
I also remember to have read that Kithor moved to Switzerland.
Maybe some sort of "Are you still available?"-mail every half year or so?
And the someone made responsible to update this list?

I mean, you ask for money for your services, so they should be excellent services, right?
