Orc team sculpts - feedback appreciated!
Hey guys, what do you think of these greens (2 lineorcs and a troll)?
Any feedback would be appreciated!

Please note the heads aren't final, and the 2nd lineorc actually has the WIP head from a Black Orc.

Very nice work, Danny. I really like that they're not too cluttered, they look like they'd be a joy to paint. Proportions look good too!
If I was looking hard for a fault, I'd say:
> I thibk it'd be better to avoid heads that look like GW kitbash heads. Something more footbally, like the puppetswar orc football heads, would give these guys bags and bags of extra character
> I feel like maybe the second lineorc is a bit upright; perhaps he could do with being slightly more hunched, maybe just his head being a little lower?
> a few boils and scars on that troll would really bring him to life!
Nitpicking though. Lovely stuff!

Really good looking sculpts.
Agree with Shteve0 that making them a bit more footbally would be good, maybe do that for the positionals to make them stand out?
Only thing I think could do with a little more work is the thumbs, they look a bit unfinished.

Absolutly like them! I am big fan of this cartoony look (at least they look cartoony to me).
I agree on the "need" for more footballishness. And, down to personal taste, I do not like the stupid look of the troll. I adore the style, but I'd rather see a morre aggressive or evil look on his face. Personal taste.

I agree with Saebelsultan on the troll. He should be looking mean, not stupid.

I like that the troll looks stupid. However he does look very clean, almost like a babytroll. So scars and boils, yes.
A thing I used to hate, but that I've turned 180 on is the poses: That linemen have a very standing pose, blitzers have the "go get em" pose, catchers have a hand in the air, etc. I think they're very good for determining a positional from the other side of the field. And I think it's very important to be able to see which positional is which and that they migh thave a variation, so you can see who has which skillset.

Re: Orc team sculpts - feedback appreciated!
Very nice and clean GS work, congrats!
IMO the orc sculpts look nice - despite having an aesthetic somehow identifiable with GW orcs.
If you where after that look, you've nailed it and they look quite good actually.
Anyway, if you're doing it just for fun, they're awsome. If you're aiming at a future casting (to sell), it might be worth consider some of the answers you got in this post regarding alternative non GW looks for the heads.
As for the troll, I seriously loved how goofy it looks (It reminded me of "Popeye").
Truth be told there are a lot of mean looking trolls out there already, it's nice to have a different one for a change.
Cheers,
A.

These are great sculpts, well done
Although when looking at the troll all I can see is Herbert from Family Guy.
And that's not a good thing!

I like the troll as-is. If you want scars and boils, nothing keeps you on bringin out a knife and some gstuff...
Like the orcs as well. Love to see this as a team.
