I am personally thankful for his approach to supporting the new rules and engaging with us the players/customers/coaches/fans/unwashed heathens. I am impressed with this approach - it feels 'fresh' and contrasting to the era that came after the generous support days of Jervis being involved from Specialist Games.
Post here with a question that you feel needs answering. Please also chime in (quoting the question) if you feel this is already clearly answered.
(This has been edited twice to add suggestions from TFF and Ausbowl)
In a Friendly game:
* Do Deaths and other Casualty Table injuries count permanently on a team or do the players 'just go into the Dead and Injured box and not return for this game' as specifically written elsewhere in Deathzone?
* Is it correct that Star Player Points are not accrued in Friendly games?
* Do friendly games count as the game players sit out if they are suffering a MNG injury?
* Do you roll for Fan Factor after a friendly game?
In between seasons:
* Was there a range of season length that was considered appropriate under the Funds Raiding/Team Rebuy rules?
* Is there an optimal TV range that you are looking for teams to balance out at?
* What price do rerolls cost (single price or double) when rebuilding? Do they carry over or do they need to be rebought?
* Do coaching staff / apothecaries need to be repurchased? I understand that Assistant Coaches can be gathered for free by releasing 'want to retire' players.
* Must a coach ensure that a rebuilt team begins with 11 player or more at the beginning of a new season?
* During re-drafting what happens if you raise more funds than your current team value?
* Do players that want to retire, still want to when a new season begins. Or do you roll for retire at each season? (Or, phrased another way, is there a way a player can change their mind and no longer wish to retire?)
* Can you bank the extra money raised in your treasury?
* Do casualties caused by a foul, or by the crowd (or a Special Play card, etc.) count 5,000 gold towards rebuilding the team?
To understand the circumstances where a casualty is caused, those involved in this question:
Within your control
- CAS inflicted by your team during a block which earn SPP (clearly documented)
- CAS inflicted by your team during a block which do not earn SPP (Chainsaw, stab, star players,)
- CAS actively inflicted by your team but not during a block (diving tackle, crowd surf, wizard {when that is in}, cards, foul)
within your influence... (I doubt it but some people argue they "made" me GFI)
- CAS self-inflicted by the other team [not skulls on block]: (failed dodge, failed GFI, failed landing, chainsaw kickback, goblin snack)
outside of your influence
- CAS inflicted by no team in particular (Kick off events, cards)
Wood Elf Roster:
Is the cost of Wood Elf Linemen meant to be 70,000?
Skaven Roster:
Was the Rat Ogre meant to be left off in the team list included with the Skavenblight Scramblers? If so, which is correct - that in the boxed set, or that in Deathzone Season One?
Pre-Game:
* Is it really meant that adding treasury to purchase inducements can result in an 'unbalanced' game? (ie. the team with treasury has a bonus against the team without)
* Who chooses inducements first if TV is equal?
Skills and effects in game:
* Does a failed loner roll to use Piling On place the player prone?
* Is the description of passing on page 7 of the Blood Bowl rulebook meant to read with the same intent as the version on page 18?
* Is Wrestle meant to be worded as per the CRP, or is wrestling the opposing ball carrier meant to cause a turnover?
* Can you argue the call on a failed bribe roll?
* Which do you roll for first during a foul action, using a bribe or arguing the call by your head coach?
* Does the effect of the 'Magic Sponge' Special Play card only last that game, or permanently remove the injury?
Rulebook:
* Do you plan to collate all the rules into one document, rather than the current five places to look? (Blood Bowl rulebook, Deathzone Season one, Errata, Teams of Legend, Q&A)
