Old vs. New Special Play Cards?
Has anyone had a chance to compare the new Special Play Cards to the old Special Play Cards from the original 3rd edition Deathzone supplement yet?

The cards are the same as the Special Play cards from the CRP/LRB5/LRB6 cards section APART from the Random Events and Miscellaneous Mayhem have had their names swapped over.

So the deck is 104 cards? or is it just the CRP Miscellaneous Mayhem and Random Event decks which would total 31 cards or it a 20 card selection of those 2 decks?Loki wrote:The cards are the same as the Special Play cards from the CRP/LRB5/LRB6 cards section APART from the Random Events and Miscellaneous Mayhem have had their names swapped over.

It's Ten from each deck so some are missing, keep meaning to look at which have been omitted.

As above there are a few minor text alterations through the new cards, only really big change is Kid Gloves...adhansa wrote:The new random events deck is the old misc mayhem except Rouge Wizard Ecplipse and Fanatic Invation and That Babes gor Talent renamed to Everyones an expert.

Old Text:
For the remainder of the game, all armour breaks against your team by a selected opposing player from fouling or blocking will be treated as Stunned results without this player actually rolling to see an injury result.
New Text:
Pick an opposing player. For the remainder of the game, that player cannot Foul, and cannot give assists to blocks or fouls.

I'd say several have changed in terms of specifics. It's not as simple as just rehashing the old table.
I had to create a table in Excel for folks who haven't gotten the new set in our league, so they could use regular playing cards.
