Barbazu for Blood Bowl

Post by odinsgrandson »

Sometime after the Bones 2 Kickstarter, I found that I had a lot more Bugbears than I felt like I needed. But I started thinking that they'd make great ogres, and if they only were a bit more demonic, they could be combined with a group of Imps that I had leftover from Ex Illis.

So here are my team's stars- the Bearded Devils. So far, they've performed a bit better than one should expect of the worst stunty team around.

Very nice. Some Hellboy vibe there. Now I wonder how well they would work along the Pathfinder Goblins (maybe too big for snotlings, being ~2cm). Or Gremlins.

Are heads one part with the body or preglued? I found at least one is separate.

Edit: typo.

They all come pre-assembled (that's true of all of the smaller bones minis). It is sometimes easiest to pull them apart along the glue lines (you can freeze them to make the glue brittle or leave them in strong heat to melt the glue a bit).

However, Bones cuts pretty easily with just a hobby knife- so you can "de-assemble" them however you like without very much trouble. I cut off a few arms here and there and glued them back on in different poses.

Also, since they're made of a bendable PVC, you can often boil them and bend them into the poses you'd like and put them in icewater (some of that happened as well).

Great colors, love the glow of the lava that's reflected on the mini.
