Blood Bowl Content in White Dwarf Magazine

Post by pistachio »

I'm tracking the Blood Bowl content that shows up in issues of White Dwarf Magazine every month. Here is the link:

http://bit.ly/bloodbowlwd

I'll continue to update this as new issues are released.

Strange how they in May described the addition of teams in the digital version, as these teams were released digitally many months ago.

A very good thing they did with the release of White Dwarf & Black Gobbo from Forge World was to give the rules away from free on pdf.

Not much this month, but I did like the Goblin special balls. I like those rules overall and think that's something we will be adding to our game.

Could anyone share them? I only play BB and, as such, 95% of the WD content is lost on me. Hopefully at some point they include BB content as a stand alone download from My Dugout or something like that.

Ditto - not being a 40k or AoS player means WD is wasted for me.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

The only thing I play from GW, is Blood Bowl. Before that, HeroQuest/Warhammer Quest. I still decided to pick up a subscription to White Dwarf, so I could see all the new goodness though.

I find some of the other stuff interesting, like there were a bunch of new Nurgle models in the last issue. I was already eyeing them for possible conversions.

I'll definitely be switching to digital after the initial sub runs out though. Also, if the Blood Bowl content starts to really disappear from WD, then bye bye subscription.

I'd also love to get those Goblin ball rules. In fact, I've finally stopped lurking and created an account on here just to say this. I really hope GW collects some compilation of these special rules and sells them in some other context some day. I'd definitely pay to have them all collected in one place in some easily referenceable way...
