II Bilbali Teams Cup. Aitor Memorial 1st and 2nd July. Getxo

Post by Thibault »

Hi all,

The tournament will be held during the weekend of the 1-2 of July 2017 in Getxo. The adress is Avenida de los Chopos s/n, a la altura de la calle Izalde, Carretera BI-3738/BI-637. Getxo is really close from Bilbao and the venue is well conected by subway or bus. The airport is 20 minutes away.

COST

All registrations should be made via website. All coaches should be registered and then the payment would be done after our confirmation. The website is: http://www.bilbalicup.com but it is still only avaiable in Spanish. In order to ease the matter for you, we can register the team into the website. Please send us an email (bilbaliteamscup@gmail.com) with the following information and we will introduce it in the website:
Nickname, name, NAF number and race for each of team members
Captain name
Team name
Registration will be closed on the first of June. From then on, more teams will be admitted, but in pairs, in order to assure that we have an even number of teams.

GIFTS AND EXTRAS

Specially designed D6s
Specially designed block dices
D8
Specially designed ball
Special gift to be determined
Bench
Turn and rerroll markers
Captain bracelet (1 for each team)
Match up special cards (1 set for each team)
Lunch on Saturday

Organization will provide everything needed to play, so you just have to bring your miniatures. We encourage the minis to be painted.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Four player teams.
Resurrection format.
6 Rounds will be played. In the First Round the match ups will be random or by challenging another team, and from then on the swish process will be used to determine the team match ups.
Competition Rules Pack will be used.
The 24 NAF Teams can be used: High Elves, Amazons, Chaos, Elves, Dark Elves, Wood Elves, Dwarves, Chaos Dwarves, Goblins, Halflings, Lizardmen, Humans, Underwolrd, Khemri, Necromantics, Undead, Norses, Nurgle, Ogres, Orcs, Chaos Pact, Skaven, Slann and Vampires.

TEAM CREATION

Teams will be of 4 members. Each team member must play with a different race and must play all his games with the same team. Teams of up to 5 players will also be admitted, but each round only four will play (this is done so that everyone can come to play). Also, if you are lacking one player, please let us know, since we can probably find someone to complete the team.

TEAM CAPTAIN

Each team must nominate a Captain. A captain bracelet will be given by the organization to each team to identify the Team Captain. Captain's responsibilities will be:
Register the whole team with one unique email and payment.
Gather the team players for the round and conduct the matches selection process (this is explained later on).
Fill in the match results sheet with the other Captain.
Handle the results sheets to the organization once the round is finished.

ROUND MATCH UPS

At the beginning of the tournament, the organization will give to every captain four special cards: “The Proplayer”, “The Prodrunk", “The Loner” and “The Old Glory”.
Once the round is defined and the Teams Match Ups are defined, in order to determine the players Match Ups the following procedure will be followed:

The team captain will give one of these cards to each of his team members (him included).
Each player will play against the opposing team member with the same card type.
The team captains will register the match ups on the scoring registration sheet that will be provided by the organization.

SCORING

The score will be a Team Score. The important thing is the team result, not the individual one. A team will win a round when the total wins by their members is higher than the total wins by the members of the opposing team.

Team Round Victory → 2 points
Team Round Draw → 1 point
Team Round Lost → 0 points
The tie-breaker would be the total individual points of the team.

Also, an individual score will also be kept and the best player of the tornament will be awarded a prize. For the individual score, the points will be:

Victory with a TD dif greater than 1 → 13 points
Victory with a TD dif of 1 → 11 points
Draw → 8 points
Defeat with a TD dif of 1 → 5 points
Defeat with a TD dif greater than 1 → 3 points

The following trophies will be given: Tournament Champions (Txapela and NAF Cup included)
Second Team Award
Third Team Award

Best defense team (team with the least number of TD against)
Olentzero team (last team)

There are plenty of hotels and hostels in Getxo or in the near Bilbao. We have looked for some cheap offers:

- Camping in the venue. There is a big garden and it is closed to strangers. Shower and toilet facilities are available. Free.

From the organisation just wanted to thank the participants the assistance, the patience with us, the good vibes inside and outside the Blood Bowl fields, and to remember that without them there will not be such a great event as the Bilbali year after year.

Well, we have now to upload the individual results to the NAF and publish the final team classification. :) But here you have some photos in the meantime. If you want me to remove some or you want to send me some more, just drop me a PM.

Kind regards
