woo hoo! Up to 8 now. that is enough for a 6 round swiss. xD

I love this ruleset. Thomas and I spend ages talking about which racial pairings would be fun. :D

You're going to be a nightmare winding people up with this. Oooh, you've got this, but you don't want my that. MetaW will be in his element.

Although, having said that, I did once just shuffle my cards at a Monkeybowl and have my opponent (who so happened to be Paul Gegg) select one at random. That was in no way a slight wind-up. ;)

Indeed I will, and I shall be liberally and inaccurately quoting from the Princess Bride, "but if I drink the potion in front of me..." It's going to be epic!

Lol. You don't know how true that is. Thomas (age 8) is totally unashamed. "Let's play Bloodbowl, Daddy." "Okay, what races?" "Ummm... I'll be lizardmen... what is the worst against lizardmen?"

I suggested that I used dwarves, and he beat me 2-1. The swine. Next time I'll use wood elves!

One of my first games against my son (who was 5 at the time), he was orcs and I was humans, playing very basic rules.
"Daddy, I've got an orc left but no humans to hit"
"Well, there is this thing called a foul..."
"Oooh, how do I do that?"

Short explanation later:
"Armour roll..." 10. "Injury roll..." 10.

Teach them the core of the game early: power-game at all costs, and kick a man when he's down. Repeatedly if necessary.

Payment received from BillyDee - many thanks!!

No chance. Although if Sandwich thinks different it could make for a pretty fascinating rule-set...!!

Received, many thanks!

As PeteW says: no extra skills on star players.
That would be completely and utterly bonkers insanity... you may have kindled an idea for BB7 though ;-)
