Allies limits?..

This is a silly question..... and I prefer to blame my bad english instead of my bad head... anyway:
The 2 line or 1 position limits are for the team, or per race?!

I'm not sure what you mean.

A chaos pact team can take 2 orc linemen or 1 orc positional player. This has no effect on what they can take from the Chaos roster.

on the pact teams they are per allied race

so 2 orc linemen or 1 orc positional player
2 norse linemen or 2 norse positional player
2 skaven linemen or 1 skaven positional player

if you are talking about any other ally rules they are broken and are no longer official

Sorry... yes, I was talking about Pact teams.... the problem writing rules is that sometimes something is SOOOOO obvious that you forget to tell about... I manage to get that problem asking a question..!!... :lol:

Well.... then these teams have some interest....

it says 1 positional or 2 linemen but some teams like dwarf and chaos have no linemen. So does this mean that you can only take 1 longbeard or beastman for allies because they are not linemen?

beastmen and longbeards are the linemen

To avoid confusions Galak's site has a list of "lineman".... in:

My doubt was if pact teams could have allies from more than one race, like this Old Worlder:
2 Long Beard (not allies)
some human lineman

1 Troll Slaayer
1 Wardancer
2 Halflings
1 Human Blitzer (or catcher)....

As I got it they can... and that explains also why they did those teams, they look like good fun...
Perhaps these teams still have some balance issues with the 2 bigs..? Not to mention with 3, as originally!!!... :)
