Foul(er) goblins

What would be the effect of giving EVRY SINGLE GOBLIN "Dirty Player"
How much would the price need to go up?

I could see an increase of 10K, or maybe a specialist position that could have the skill for an extra 20K and the rest of the team be regular gobbos. I dunno, say, 0-4 Dirty Gits, 0-16 Goblins, 0-1 Weaponeers (pogo stick, bomb, ball & chain, that kinda thing)

Nah, I don't like the idea. Goblins are not meant to be killing machines, just mean and vicious. Yes, they may be "dirty" and attempt a lot of fouls, but dirty player would make them too good at it.

This gets a no-no from me.

Proof:
If we assume gobbos can get through the armour easily with assists, no DP causes a casualty 6/36, KO's 9/36, namely gets someone out of the pitch 15/36.

With DP casualty is 15/36, KO is 11/36, so they get someone out of the pitch 26/36.

This can be a fun roster to use...and it seems reasonably balanced stunty wise (ie equivalent to regular gobbos or halflings):

if you disallow the trolls for them, this can be a very fun team especialy if you allow more secret weapons.

A goblin team with 2 trolls and 14 dps would scare the bejeezus out of any team... the opponent would lose about a player a turn, as dps almost never not break armour.

It would be like giving gobbos & flings general skills, blodgey stunties would dominate bloodbowl and scoring with such a team would be laughably easy...

I likes goblins the way they are now... their incompetence makes them fun, even though why they'd "weaken" a team by removing ogres i dunno... but trolls are more fun (they eat things) :)

I just point to my Elite-Gobbos.
