Yeah...probably 110,000 would be a better number with that added. I honestly made that list in about 5 minutes just to see if I could stir anyone up with it. I've only gotten one other bite on it and it didn't say anything except... :pissed: .

I actually do think it's a more reasonably constructed list but I think these other gentlemen have learned my "pot stirring" ways and have gotten good at ignoring me on this topic.

Good for them. :)

Because all the races they could do that against are now extinct. Mostly because of the Space Marines. The races you have left are the toughest things in the Galaxy and surely as tough as space marines or else they, too, would be extinct.

Asperon Thorn
The new dark eldar are the hardest thing in the game and the codex fluff indicated that a group of 500 marines took over 5 dark eldar galaxys in a matter of days.
The tau, fail. Orcs, fail e.t.c

Space marines are harder than them all the only real threat are genestealers and chaos. Orbital strikes ftw.

If it wasn't for shear numbers space marines would have won years ago (there are a million orcs for every one member of the human race).

But than again my fluff may be out dated.

5 galaxys? 500 marines to millions of stars (per galaxy)? Really?
Some serious fluff issues here.

Its not a matter of stars its a matter of hospitable planets, with warp transportation and orbital strikes its a walk in the park, if the park had alien heritc guts for trees.

I think you might be mistaking "galaxys" for "planets" (or maybe "systems") - the Imperium hasn't even explored all the Milky Way galaxy (this one), let alone other galaxies.

And if you think that it takes months (warptime)/decades (real time) to get from one side of a sector to the other, to get to a different galaxy would take decades (warptime)/millenia (real time).

Either admit the one thing you would change is turn them all into space marines or get this pollution off my nice clean bloodbowl site

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Darkson why did you edit the thread name, poll and starting post? Yes I know it was you:
1. Because next to burgun you are the biggest bret hater on the forum
2. Because you the only admin that uses the word poncy
3. It was you

Oh, no, it's just that some of the major variations on the spelling of the nation to the west of the Empire have been marked as auto-replace with 'Plasmoid's Poncy Ponces wearing to much armour' (sic), as if it were an expletive.

How very clever of one of the forum moderators.

Spot the typo? It has one t and two ns.

And you also get King Arthur and his 'Knights'. Very sad.
