Does anyone use "the Random Events in between matches "chart from one of the GW compendium downloads. Has this chart been play tested or modified for balance in any way?
We have just started using it and one team has ended up with two sets of knuckle dusters giving +1 armour and injury and this stacks with mighty blow!!

I'd be interested to know whether anyone has used the chart successfully. My league is much more fluff based than many others and the rules are more flexible - I seemingly don't know many of them and I'm our Commish. Still, we have avoided this chart even in a modified form as it's not worth having if you use the Cards or a decent kick-off table along with the various fluffy things like Stadia or Refs.
The chart seems to be an attempt to adapt the Warhammer Quest chart and that's not a game from which too many things should be drawn.

Do they get to permanently keep the dusters...if so that's broke. I was under the impression it was a one off type thing.

It doesnt say. It only said that the cost for each was the price of the player your giving the dusters to. But to keep the two does seem a bit much. We may have to aboandon the chart because we are using the special play cards as well and it may end up over the course of a season that one team is far superior its not worth the other team setting up.

also if they are permanent they should have a secret weapon roll associated with them...maybe an 8+ or 9+
