TTM hand-offs

Hi all,
I'd like to suggest a house rule to you. We've used it here for many seasons, and it is great fun. Quite simply, the rule allows a TTM player to "hand-off" a right stuff player.
The action still eats up the teams "hand-off" action for the turn, and the little player must be lifted from a square adjacent to the big guy, and put down in a square adjacent to the big guy.

As with any hand-off, you do not roll to "pass", but you still have to roll to catch/land.

The rule allows goblin and halfling teams to make some particularly sneaky plays, giving the teams a tiny helping hand.

This begs a question that I have never thought of...

Can a Troll on a Goblin team pick up a goblin... hand him off to another troll... who then makes the TTM?

That could get interesting...

I'd allow it only if Really Hungry still applied...

Hi tchatter,
note that trolls are never actually carrying the goblins around.
A TTM pass is made with a troll standing next to a standing goblin.

So, to answer your question: Yes, one troll could make a hand-off (moving the goblin up to 2 squares forward), and then the second troll could throw him.
(This would ofcourse use up the teams hand off action and passing action for the turn).

And, I figure that Always Hungry would still apply.

The rule allows you to pull off some really neat tricks. Unfortunately, the neatest ones requires your goblin to land in a TZ, so that's a 4+ just to get the play off the ground.

Cheers

but since the failed landing doesn't make a turnover it's a limited risk fun thing

hmmm... i'll put it to my leauge...
but as i am the only one who plays Rightstuffers... they will quite rightly assume i'm trying to work an advantage.

Good luck with the 5+ hand-off roll from one Troll to the other... 8)
