Injuries causing lower player value

Hi there!

Here's a thought. Shouldn't players with stat injuries nigglings and the likes cause a players value to degrade a bit using the TV system in LRB 5.0. I know this was never the case in previous editions of BB, but wouldn't it somehow make more sense. The value decrease would equal a similar upgrade such as -ST = -5.0000 value for that player (I'm not sure Niggling injuries should be invcluded in the calculation)....

TBH, I wouldn't do this. It's the managing part that makes me say no. You have the option to keep the high value player or sack him and get a new one. And you can sack easially now, cause you get journeymen to complete an incomplete team.

The single reason why this is not the case is to encourage (some might say enforce) team turnover. Losing a ST would be worth it on some players if they then cost 50K less.

I would not want to see that. It's not as if the player would take less cash.

It's meant to encourage you to retire players.

And if you add this House Rule then you need to add another House Rule to go with it ... because what happens when a Skeleton loses a point of AG. Most players would not retire him and suddenly you have a Skeleton player who takes 10 points of TV away from your team (or is a free player even if you House Rule him).
