Foul hobbits
In an attempt to bring the halflings into balance with other teams (which not everyone on this list feels is a good thing
We have said Halflings only get sent off after a successful foul. If they don't break armor it is dismissed as an accident. "Aww I'm sure the little fella didn't mean it!"

A funny idea. How about +1 to the referee roll, if the foul succeeds? Halflings are meant to be more fun than effective, right?duff wrote:"Aww I'm sure the little fella didn't mean it!"

Not bad. And it won't effect that much anyhow, as fouls are usually built to most likely break armour.
I wouldn't mind this rule for halflings and goblins.
But I'd suggest one thing: this applies only if the fouling player does not have Dirty Player.

Halflings are nasty little critters, who laze around doing nothing, have hair on their feet and enter into unnatural practices with animals (that being treemen). Block them, pile on them, foul them! Arrr! Little pest bugs.. seriously though, I wouldn't mind them having a few special advantages, the keyowords being "a few!". Having 2 treemen are one of them. This could very well be another.. but to be honest, I really don't care one way or the other as nobody I know has ever played a Halfling team.. me and a friend had one we used to take turns coaching against the others' teams, if we had some Miss Next Games to get rid of.. but nobody ever played them seriously!

there only defense you said, surely it are not you're halflings but a mighty treeman ( or even thickroot) who kicked the players down in the first place.BloodNole wrote:I have a team of little guys already. They need no help when it comes to fouling. My boys, Mootland Rovers, are a pack of psychos that foul at least 2 opponents out per game. Its their only defense.

Halflings being one of the teams that suffers LEAST from fouling, because often as not getting a player sent off means nothing, with them having five reserves....bad.
I like the idea, just don't think it will work too well.

Foul Hobbits? What's wrong with them? Bad Breath? Flatulence? Cussing? What makes them so foul?
