Talk Fantasy Football

We've been ignoring the TTM line that you can only throw at an empty square. This has meant that my 'flings, (the ones with no SPP if possible) have become ranged weapons.

Naturally this option is quite a costly one (the ONE pass, the treeman isn't blocking, the halfling is going to get hurt), but it's fun and sometimes the only hope to take out a caged ballcarrier or one who is more then 7 squares away.

And ofcource it goes wrong more times then not... and because of that it's not unbalencing, just fun...

So what ya'll think of it?

I think it is fine but have heard arguments for both sides and since I don't feel to strongly one way or the other I just stick with the LRB on this one.

I allow it in the MBBL2 .. but only for the Goblin team and only for a special player, the Bat Winged Looney of which a Goblin team can only have 0-4 of (and they are AG 2 from the winged outfit).

i originally was for this rule (I play gobbo's, so why wouldn't I!), but after the new secret weapon rules (they can be part of a team) it's a little bit unfair (although it makes it fun). for example a deathroller (starting with the strongest right away ), of he's knocked down by a goblin, he's dead! I think that's a too easy way to destroy secret weapons, so i would say no to the rule if you have secret weapon players, otherwise it's ok

thats a cool way to throw small people just to throw them at someone

I don't like it.
Anything remotely resembling a second blitz is bad in my book.
Then again - I hate the bombs secret weapon.

how about a dethroller that looks like a pumpwagon same rules as a deathroller. you get the point. just an idea
