New Skill/Trait

Post by Cannatiaz »

Vengeful :
When a player, with the Vengeful Skill/trait, Stands after laying prone he may add +1 to his strength on his next block only. or or add a +2 modifier on his next armor roll when fouling. still only the next foul.

Any ideas on wich type of skill/trait this should be?
Is it Balanced??

this is similar to the idea of grudge bearing dwarves

having +1 ST and Mighty Blow until they have injured the opponent who hurt them last game.

I like that, but I am not sure this would ever work as it is a bit hard to keep track of.

I would say it would need to be a Block, Blitz or Foul made in the turn he stands up otherwise it would be too hard to keep track of.

As for skill categories it probably fits into General, as anyone could be vengeful, although it would be nice as a Strength skill, maybe only players with ST access are vicious enough to get this skill.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

Agree with Munkey on everything here. Should definatly be the same action the player stands up to limit the bookkeeping and to lower the power of the skill a little. Probably fits better in General but I would want it in Strength.

As a strength Trait there aren't too many players that would be able to get that combo.

I thought it was proposed as a trait?

In that case Vampires & Werewolves (ouch) too.

I think the current Jump Up skill pretty much covers the motivation for this skill, in that if you get knocked down, its a lot easier for you to "get" the player who did it to you.
