hungry trolls

Post by ryani »

I was playing a game on FUMBBL with my rookie snotling team in the "stunty leeg", against some halflings.

Out of five Throw Team-mate attempts, we never even had the chance to fumble my little snotlings.

Twice I failed really stupid.
Three times the troll tried to eat the little bugger.

A success on any of them would have tied up the game.

In our 1st club league my star Norse blitzer had a raputation for taking himself out on the last square. All i would need is anything but a 1.....and i would always have a re-roll.....easy!.....O' look at that.....a 1, Re-roll.....O, another 1.

I think that i went 6 game with this happening in every game.

I've got a good one for you...

One of the coaches that I play with lost his dice and had to borrow another set from another game he had. The whole game, he couldn't roll higher than a 6 (armor, dauntless) or a 3 (catch, dodge, pick up the ball, throw). He just couldn't do a damn thing! He ended the match with no casualties, no TD's and no completions, he never even successfully picked up the ball once! (He was playing Chaos) Only after the slaughther ended did he realize that the dice he was using were only 3 sided (1-3 twice!) We still kid him about that one!

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Sorry, it comes with the territory as a Nuffle cleric. The game was rediscovered by Dwarves, you know. In fact, before the Reformation, the church offered a handy flow chart to redemption. Question 14 was, "Are you an Elf? If yes, you are damned. If no, proceed to question 15."
Well, I'd rather say re-invented by the Dwarves, and re-discovered by the Orcs?

That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time. I've often checked my dice because I've suspected something similar happening to me. Thanks for the laugh.
