I'll just throw in my support for making the dark elf team more personal by doing this change.
Marcus: Why I, and perhaps others have the same reason, prefer the teams to be left alone is simple:
It's natural that teams should have a period when they're tested, but when they are finally set, then they should stay that way apart from minor changes. Ditching the undead team = not a minor change. DE Thrower => runner = minor change.
It's great that people who've played BB in 95 can restart and find the same teams and practically the same game (only made better by the BBRC changes). It's easy to get back to the game.
I don't want the same thing to happen as with WH40k and WHFB: if two people of whom other has played them in 99 and the other in 94 talk together, they might be talking of the same race, but both of them have a very different view of the race (that was correct when he played). Or the race might not even exist for the other person.
If there was a true reason like unbalance or something like that, then it's ok, but if the reason for changing teams is simply the fact that WHFB world has changed, then it sucks.
