Hum... it's a little bit off topic ;) and the answer should be really long ;).

> how do I get started in playing online?

The website I gave you the url started a few months ago. It has some team management tools on line, something very interesting (buying new players, finding an opponent, ranking, ...) and it was sooo impressive I decide to have a try. IMHO, it's something completely different from an "offline" league.

> What do I need and where do I get it?

3 tools exist, and some of them are still "on progresison" (I especially think about Tow Bowl Tactics). You should take a look on the online/PBeM sections (tools and leagues). Personnaly, I'm a big fan of the skijunkie software, with which you can play in "real time", whereas PBeM (play blood bowl by email) will be played ... yeah, by email. ;) I'd rather chat with my opponent... Something closer than PBem to the Boardgame version, but it's just my opinion. Galak, Dain or some other PBeM coaches should disagree with me on it.

> How are you able to play online? Is it hard to play online? I am new so it might help me get somemore exp.

Hum, for the first question, I think I answered.... Not sure.

FOr the second one, it's quite esay if you know Blood Bowl ;) you just have to learn a little bit about the tool, but it's really a good one, very easy to use and quick to learn!

About Skijunkie software, I noticed it sometimes feels like if the software "chooses" someone a little bit luckier than his opponent... maybe I should be wrong? We talked about it on the board of the league (more than 1000 games played ! I played the 1000th match ! ;) ), and it's an opinion shared with a lot of coaches...

Hope it helps
