Fine, back out, but don't claiming that you are smarter than people when you are nothing but a talker. I am not really interested in proving my coaching abilities to you either. I already know that I'm smarter than you. For example, I don't write checks I'm unwilling to cash.

You claim that orcs with 4 goblins are too good and claimed that they are unbalanced. I challenged you to prove it and agreed to your choice of weapon. Now let's set the record straight. YOU backed out. I emailed you several times. I was on line and waiting at the scheduled time. I was there you were not. Now you have brought it back up and challenged me so the choice of weapons is mine. I choose the most cheat free system there is. It's every bit as fast and capable as any javabowl or BBiirc system AND it has the added benefit of being able to keep a record so no post match spinning can go on. That's why I think you are afraid of it.

I will do this through PBeM. It's my choice. It's a fine system. You can't alter your memories of it later because I can share the entire blow by blow with everyone on the board. If you think that I'm about to use a system that is imcomplete, and open to cheating then you are sorely mistaken. I think the real reason you won't PBeM is because you are just talking crap and that system will let everyone see it. You can't tilt the results or remember it differently than me.

So you threw down the glove, I picked it up and once again you backed down. You have no idea how the real world works. You make a challenge you don't get to dictate the weapon. That is my right, sir. I already made concessions on what team I would play...but when that failed to discourage me you had to come up with another excuse. Like I said, you are talking crap and are too scared to back it up.


Either play out your challenge or conceed like a man but don't dishonor your name by making childish excuses.

What about the spectator option on Javabowl? If you two really want a showdown you should agree on a medium and get it done instead of pontificating about it

Now the option is mine and I have no time to learn Javabowl, or BBiirc. I already play in 3 PBeM leagues and don't have the time nor desire to learn anoth system.

His first excuse was my team choice Now it's the method I wish to play. I'm sorry. Challenges don't work like that. I tried it his way once already and he chickened out. His PBeM refusal is just another excuse for him to weasel out of stepping up to the plate.

I'm not unreasonable. If he wants to practice the softeware then by all means, please do! I'll wait. Take as much time as you need to get comfortable but I refuse waste my time while you teach me how to play a game on a system that allows cheating. PBeM is a viable option. It can be played almost as fast as real time, everyone can review the file and it's cheat proof.

Not to mention it's my choice of weapon.

Funny, i don't remember it that way at all. The way i remember it, you never agreed to the challenge because you wanted to play dwarves, which was irrelevant to the discussion. Now that i see that you just wanted to prove that you were better than me, and were not interested at all in finding out whether orcs are actually too good, i understand your former reaction better.

And i have no desire to install PBEM on my machine or learn it, because i think it's a crappy system and i would definitely never use it again. I already know BBirc and i'm prepared to learn javabowl because it seems ok and could come in handy later.

What's funny is that I can't for the life of me figure out what parameters you have set up for this team being "too good". They don't need to win and they can't play certain teams. Because my claim assumes equal coaching skill. If we make the assumption right off the bat that we're not equal in coaching skill, then it makes the experiment pointless in terms of figuring out the orcs' strength.

I'll be waiting for your proof when ever you feel you can prove that Orc are overpowered. You claim that Orcs are too powerful with goblins but you also claimed that you don't need to beat me to prove this. You "assuming equal coaching ability" argument is a cop out.
