Hey all!
Leap: A long time ago (2nd edition, I think) Leap was a straight agility roll, then came along 3rd and 4th editions and as I recall leap was modified by the number of tackle zones you leaped into. Now having recently aquired the LRB 2.0 I noticed that Leap seems to have gone back to being unmidifed. Is this the case or did I miss something? I personally thought leap was better modified as it could be abused by someone to leap into a square surrounded by enemy teammates and then dodge your way out (much easier than dodging in). Could someone clarify this for me? Thanks!
Also, has anyone thought of putting together a second table from the old cards for an additional handicap table? I am starting a league and loved the wackiness of the old card system, but understand and agree with (to a certain extent) the need to tone down the cards a little. I was thinking of putting together a 'Dirty Tricks' table of the less abusable cards not included in the current handicap table. This I think would add more of the 'zany' flair that Blood Bowl is known for having.
What does everyone think?
Thanks!

LRB 2.0: Leap is an unmodified AG roll, but you may only leap if you have the Leap skill (in 2nd ed. everyone could leap, and the leap skill just gave you a bonus) and you may only leap once per turn.
Yes, you can just jump over opponents making one dodge roll afterwards to get away from them, but this is not an abuse, its the usage of this skill. For dodging you get a base mod of +1, the leap roll is unmodified, so only AG4+ guys will have a real chance making it without wasting a RR, furthermore the dodge skill lets reroll your dodge roll, but there is no skill-reroll for leap.
Don't mention the old cards
There is a huge discussion going about them another post on this board.
