I like the Tau fluff and the figures (I've great idea for a techmarine and devilfish conversion), but the trouble with them is they're too shooty-orientated. As soon as the opponent gets into HTH it's game over.

I'll admit that I perfer the 40k fluff to the WFB one. I perfer 3rd ed over 2nd, just because we can actually play a game to conclusion on one night  , but yes, the did dumb it down to much :(

I live in one of those towns where everyone plays 40k, a few people play Warhammer and no one plays Bloodbowl. *cry for me*

Still, got about 5000 points worth of Chaos for 40k, of which about 1000 are painted
About 2500 of Empire for Warhammer most of which is unpainted :-?
About 30kg's of interest miniatures from both games, all unpainted. :(
And about 7 Bloodbowl teams and a 2 litre ice cream box of odd miniatures all unpainted.

Guess what my addiction is...

It's not painting, that's for sure :)

Tim, who has a terrible painting quota of 18% of his minis :(

I got a big Spacewolves 40K Armee.Maybe about 200 minis. Another of my collections  Got every spacewolf mini and converted quite a few for this chapter. I dont knew the "points" of this army. But i never play 40k or Warhammer. " Hm, just played " Space hulk", which is 40k in some way

Played most GW games

Warhammer: First played skaven, then sold my army (which i regret). Then had a chaos army, but lost half of it when i forgot it at a gaming club where i was playing a tournament. Then i stopped playing for a couple of years, came back and collected a dwarf army (which i have still most left to paint). Only played like 10 games with it.

40k: Collected an ork warband (Deathskull). After that i started a space marine amry, which i converted into a chaos space marine ( word bearers) force. Quite proud of that army.

Epic: Chaos

Necromunda: Goliat

Man O war: Skaven fleet

I stopped playing about 4 years ago, and havent really played a lot since. Cant afford anymore either, but i think im gonna paint those dwarfs soon atleast...

I have about 2000+ points of a Salamander Space Marine force (Flamers, gotta love 'em!) and about 1500 points of Dark Elder (though I can't win with these guys no matter what I do). I also own all three editions of 40K, including Dark Mellinium (I loved the psyker cards myself), and much of my Space Marine army consists of the 2nd Ed. plastics from the box set. :) I haven't played in about a year, though, mostly because I'm not one of those players that has all the charts and obscure new rules from White Dwarf memorized, and thus get yelled at a lot at the local tournies.

I never got into WHFB, except to buy individual mini's for use as D&D character mini's. I played Hero Quest and Advanced Hero Quest, but then an old girlfriend's cat peed on the Hero Quest box, and runed almost everything in there. That cat was lucky I didn't kill it!

I also played GorkaMorka, which I loved better than 40K, because I like the idea of your gang advancing and changing over games. I couldn't find anyone to play against, though, and ended up selling it to a friend so he could bulk out his Ork army.

But, my first GW game, and still my all time favorite, is Blood Bowl! :D

I also bought the Lord of the Rings game, which seems quite nice, but I mostly just wanted the mini's, so I've never actually played it.

Played... 40k, Epic and Man-o-War

Owned... Rogue Trader, Fantasy Battle (lizardmen/brettonian edition), Necromunda, Warhammer Quest and of course Blood Bowl (2nd and 3rd).

Loved Necromunda, still do and brought a few ideas from it into our Blood Bowl league (IE a weekly event table). Though Blood Bowl is still my number one favourite :)

No longer play any of them in board game edition though. Moved house and settling down with girlfriend so can't afford to play the 'real' versions even if I could find anyone to play against :)

If there's any other online GW games then let me know :)
