BB re-released!

Post by bj0rn »

From a reliable source i hear that Games-Workshop is planning to re-release BB next fall.

the information recieved was something like this:
First Games-Workshop is going to re-release BloodBowl, if successful they will re-release necromunda, gorkamorka and mordheim over the next years (one product every year or every other year).
BloodBowl will be provided for retailers in a stand (if you have seen the display stand for the Lord of the Rings you know what i mean). The stand will include a few basic boxes and four(or whatever) different teams in separate boxes.

anyway, if thats the plan (ive heard alot of plans like that one to know not to pay too much attention until planned release date has accually gone past)...and if they follow through...HURRAY!!!

Its a cool display with the basic box in the middle, Teams left and right of it, and a stand with star player, big guy, team booser pack, refferees, chearleaders next to it.

I also have a GERMAN release list, it lits 8 teams to be released throughout the summer and a Treeman in October :D

Are they re-packaging the original teams or making new models of the teams? Which teams are they releasing (new or old)?

I guess they will just print the newest LRB version, replace the old rulebook within the box and call it a re-release.

They're diffently re-releasing Necromunda (later this year IIRC) in a rulebook form (updated, with new artwork), re-releasing the basic gangs (with new metal for orlocks and golaiths), with Outlanders to follow next year.

Haven't heard anything about GorkaMorka (now there's a fun game) but I think Mordheim's due for a repackage/update 2004/05
