BL!TZ Magazine Issue 1 - now out

Post by SinisterDexter »

I'm very excited to announce the first edition of...

Image

BL!TZ magazine issue 1 can be found by following this link: http://blitz.ausbowl.com/blitz_issue_01.pdf
or by hitting up the AusBowl discussion board at: http://www.ausbowl.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6293

Issue 1 is over 100 pages long and includes:
  • House rules for the ADBC Dungeonbowl as well as a blow by blow of the creation of their amazing Grand Final dungeon.
  • Sandgroper Cup 5 wrap up
  • A massive match report between Rabid_Bogscum and Virral
  • Stadia of the Old and New World: house rules for stadium cards
  • Important dates and upcoming tournaments
  • Spotlights on the (league) Sydney League of Blood Bowl and (player) Lord Makk
  • An introduction to the AusBowl Committee
  • News, classifieds, letters, horoscopes and games
  • The Last Word: making time for family games
In addition, BL!TZ incorporates six local sub-mags for the ACT (Capital Punishment), NSW (Nuffle Says What!?!?), Queensland (Cane Toad Chronicle), SA (Southern Strike), WA (Western Juggernaut) and online (The Crystal Ball). In each of these mags is a local editorial and League Pages for as many local leagues as we could whip into submission! :)

I hope you enjoy the BL!TZ.

Remember the character Sinister Dexter is the copy right of 2000AD. So caution when using that name that you have no links to it.

Interesting. I've been using it as an internet sig since the late 90s based off the idea of Left/Right in Latin. It is a pun on a political argument I used to engage in regularly (the irrelevance of Left/Right divides in modern politics). I didn't even know there was a comic character of that name.

Regardless, it's just an internet handle, hardly something for them to get worked up over.

Sorry for the threadomancy, but the links for Bl!tz e-zine issues seem to be broken...
Does anyone know if they are stored somewhere, easy to get?
Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Axt.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

I believe I do... in an old laptop that blue screened on me last month.

I plan on getting it back to work asap, but until there I wanted to show those to a mate, and haven't found them anywhere. :|
