I havent read all posts on this thread but I have only two conclusions:
1) It's completely necesary and vital to have almost 6 of those black dice mmmm slurrps mmm blaaaack diiiceeeee erm six sided black treasures... minee
2) I'll surelly join the NAF

Ok guys, Nuffle wants my team, the Titania Black Dragons, in the NAF. They created a set of dice with my team colours (please note team logo on left) and wants to give them to me for free!?!?!

Patience gents..there's a lot of people working very hard....I think Ant's quote below still holds true..this is a mammoth undertaking..it'll be worth the wait!

Just a quick comment on not having a shop that sells BB or any tournaments near you... well the nearest BB tournament or GW shop to me is about an 11 hour jet trip across half the world. None the less I have persevered for 10 years to keep BB alive in some small form in my neck of the woods.
The only league I have ever played in were those I started myself, and the majority of players I have ever played were taught BB by myself (I must be a good teacher cos they seem to win all the cups!). There are no GW stores out here, but fortunately there are still a few hobby stores that carry a limited range of GW products - but no BB for years.
The points is, if there are no leagues in your area start your own, convert WHFB players to BB... go to your nearest shop and just start playing... people love BB when they discover it.

That said, I would love to run an officially NAF sanctioned tournament here in Johannesburg... hell, if we can hold the World Summit on blah blah blah surely this is a worthy home for the BB World Championships?

I am doing what I can right now

a real tourney would be great but for now I am trying to build up a base of players...
when I feel confident I have a dedicated group I will begin the process of getting a NAF tournament running. This will probably be at the annual games convention in JHB (mid next year) as there are already lots of WHFB players that travel up for this as it is the (unofficial) national championships and it would be the perfect place and time to have a BB tournament.

hmm..just had a thought...will there be a line of apparel down the road? I can see an all black ball cap with the NAF shield on the front with my name on it. Aw heck, I won't get greedy too soon. I'll just wait for the website to be finished before piling on more requests to our dedicated founders.
