Pretty good.
There's one concern, however: the av10 of the blockers. It drops the amount of armour breakthroughs to half compared to av9. Would the ogre blockers be a bit too resilient with that? But I'm having hard time coming up something to replace that, so I'd be content with the suggestion as it stands.

Yup, I was kinda stuck for blocker ideas as well without making them overpowered, but different enough for people not to say "Hey, that's just a troll". I think that blocker works out ok, it adds a tough Ogre that should last the game out, but isn't a game breaker.

I think 4/5/1/9, Mighty Blow, Big Guy, Bonehead, Thick Skull G,ST 100k would be fine.
The blockers are then simply bigger, tougher and slower Ogres, whereas the Blitzers are stronger, tougher, faster Ogres. I think that variant just about makes the Roster ideal.
(Note the important difference between Bigger and Stronger there...they both get the ST5 and AV9 but for different reasons. The Blocker is just good at throwing his weight around, the Blitzer actually knows how to use his strength).
Send it to Jervis or Andy as coauthored by the TBB crew and I thin kwe may have the best new team yet.

Heheh, not so fast
Once we get the team roster sorted, it's play testing time with a few games with teams made up at T100, TR150 and TR250.
Then if required, some more tweaking and play testing. With a team that could be very overpowered, we have to be very, very careful and make sure that various levels of TR on the Ogre team won't tip that fine scale.
Also great having so many coaches here interested in the Ogre team, I'm sure we can setup some PBeM or Javabowl games for playtesting, with a lot of different coaching styles to test out the team.

Right.. first test result
Myself with an Ogre team (using the above roster and example team) against a basic human team (6 line, 2 catchers, 2 throwers, 2 blitzers).
Result?
Humans trashed the Ogres. 3-0
Bonehead was the deciding factor, twice I boned (ahem) blitzes at a ball carrier, at one point I had four Ogres out of 8 with bonehead. Throw Team mate was given up after knocking out one goblin by fumbling him. The team couldn't pickup the ball, had trouble blocking (not able to use re-rolls) and stood around staring at the opposition half the match.
On the basis of this ONE match, I'd rate them below the halfling roster, better rolls on my side might have helped (never got more than a stun), but at first glance the team is not overbalancing at all.
I'll speak to a few friends this week and try and get some more Javabowl games going against other teams. I've never played PBeM so don't know how to go about sorting a log to make it 'proper' but I'm willing to give it a shot against anyone

Make it 9th place then. I wouldn't mind taking on an experimental Ogre team with a little experience. I have a two game in Chaos team that can be the opponent. PM me.

A thought just came to my.
One of the disadvantages of the traditional bad (read: Stunty) teams is their high deaths - per - match rate (my team suffered 20 in 29 matches)
This Ogre team might (note MIGHT, dunno for sure) have a big advantage over these teams. Their high AV and un - stuntyness will keep quite some of the large oafs alive.
Again: I am not certain but in the long run this team might prove just as stable as advanced Orc team tend to be
