I don't remember who started off the dirty player stuff in my league but it didn't really spoil anyone's day. There were a couple thinned skinned guys who couldn't take that kind of game but we would just leave them alone and not foul them...as long as they didn't try to foul us. There was a guy who would foul and then whine when we would foul him. (but what are you gonna do? assholes are everywhere)

Most of us liked laughing at each other's failures. Ever watch That 70's Show? Those ppl act alot like my circle of friends. Being cruel to each other is how we say, "I love you, man."

The key is that you have to be able to realize it's just a game. An opponent killed my 4 strength Orcish thrower last week on a miracle play, and I fouled his treeman to death this afternoon. It's not going to keep me from taking him to a Caps game this Tuesday.

Such a thing exists? One of the players in my league has a standing $10 reward for every player on my Orc team gimped or killed.
Anyhow, as far as the statement "LRB favours AG-teams" is concerned:

It would appear to me that whoever made that statement has never played Wood Elves. With regard to my experiences with Woodies I'd say that this statement merely proves that this basher-guy "doesn't know what he is talking about" as Zombie put it properly.

I didn't have problems playing with them in 3rd ed, and wouldn't have any problems playing with them now, despite the very adept bashing coaches I've had the privilege to play against.

Have to stand in defence of Mirascael here. I played Woodies in third ed and it was definately hard to keep the team alive.

I played against an Orc and Chaos team and to play either one was to risk serious player deaths and having your team rendered unplayable. Didn't have too much of a problem scoring though :D

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

It all comes down to how hot the "injury type" die is. If they keep on rolling a big fat 6, a team is hard to keep together. 7 armor teams are just going to see a lot more of those injury rolls made.

Are we talking 3rd here or LRB? Of course, you'll win some matches, but sooner or later there'll be no team left.
Just made a fumbbl-match against lizzies. 5-1 win, 1-6 casualities (2 kills, 2 NI, 1 mng, 1 BH). Two matches ago other lizzies scored 2 straight consecutive kills (just block-kill / block-kill). This match also was 5-1 (failed 2+ in the last turn). Neither did they have unusually violent teams nor did I leave any players in their tackle zones if possible. And there was not even one foul-casuality. Other fumbbl-roster tell the same story: As long as Woodie-Teams dare to play against basher teams, casualitiy-rates sky-rocket incredibly.
