Hey, looking through some old WDs looking for the advert, I came across an old GW BB t-shirt called 'Tackle Zone'. I WANT ONE!!!
Wonder if Galak has one mothballed somewhere? :)
Nope ... but if one ever showed up on Ebay it was mine ... there are a couple things that are just impossible to find. There were 3 badges in 1st edition ... I've only found 1 so far. The T-shirt is another relic.

By the way, I was offered a copy of the Blood Bowl helmet being worn by the woman on the 1st page of Blood Bowl Magazine #1 for 3500 USD ... some things are even too rich for my blood. Same with the statue from the cover of Blood Bowl Compendium #1 ... was offered that for 2500 USD and had to pass. Oh to have infinite funds for my BB collection passion.

Before Gold was basic 4th ed, and it's not true that nobody liked these two. Everybody in my league liked it, and most people from BBC.

I thought it was Just ' 4th edition Gold'
Was the 4th edition all those little add on bits that built up over the years of 3rd?
In which case all gold added was OSPA, Appearance fees and weapons.

4th ed was published in BB Mag 1...it was full of holes and typos.
BB Mag 2 'fixed' a few of the problems/typos..but not all...
4th ed 'Gold' was tweaked/clarified still further, and was only ever available online.

I think....

DW is 100% correct. I really wished they didn't call it the 4th ed, since it really wasn't. The new box set with the newly printed rulebook is the defacto 4th ed, but they can't call it that to avoid confusion.

So exactly what are they officially calling this new rulebook edition?

I would be happy with 2k2, seeing as there is going to be a rules revision every year in october (is this correct?), then it would be fair to use the year to denote the current edition of the rules?

Love the history of Bloodbowl releases, Mocaiv. Though you did neatly sidestep the whole 4th ed. mess....

I have only recently started playing BB again, I was a die hard 2nd edition fan. So I am not up to speed on how 4th Edition was released or butchered. Perhaps someone could enlighten me...or point me to an old thread...or another website...or tell me to shut up...

One of the other coaches in my league and I are having a rather silly argument. What edition did the GW version of the Orcland Raiders first make their appearance? He insists it's 1st edition. However, I can find no reference to the team in any offical GW material until the 2nd Edition books.
