That sounds like a great idea! I like the composite Chaos team. And I would also like to see each of the four ruinous powers have a say in the teams shape. Having a pure beast option and a pure humanoid option would be cool if they could come up with decent lists.

My ideal would be Chaos team as it is now + Beastman team + CW & Marauder team, all of which can also be dedicated to one of the powers, and maybe the daemon teams, though I not sure about them.

So that's about 18 new teams and the original. Chaos league anyone?

I think it could be an option to go Marauder or all beast or whatever, as long as they don't drop the original team. Maybe a Beast list, or a warrior list (marauders&Warriors), but Demons I'm against. I've never seen any really balanced rules for them, and I don't like the idea of Demons in BB either. Just don't feel right to me.

For me they do feel right (even Slann play BB, why not minor deamons?) but the balancing is quite hard ...

i would like to see a complete overhaul of Chaos teams... I would like to see positional players again in Chaos (i do not find it very realistic.. or enjoyable.. that all Chaos warriors have the same stats... I am sure they would manage to find a catcher or thrower out of the bunch occasionally.)
Beastmen should be either an ally, or an entirely seperate team (the possible mutations make fielding a balanced team possible... but they start to look too much like skaven if you try that... REALLY need to tweak some rules to make it work well.)

Can't say I'm wild about the idea of Daemons on rosters. Maybe as Freebooters...and no damned Greater Daemons!

I like the idea of a beastman team. I never had a problem with the old CJ roster. It was tough but never seemed unfair to me. LAck of any decent Bestigor figs was a problem but thats something GW would be happy to solve, even if they aren't already on the way with Herds of Chaos on the way.

There's already a Marauder team (they're just called the Norse team) so there's no problem there. We can keep the current Chaos team too - thats the "Warband" roster.

I don't think we specially need rules for dedication to chaos powers - if you want to play a Nurgle dedicated team get as many players as possible Foul appearance. If you want a Slaanesh team then stuff like Hypno gaze would be good (don't understand why that EVER became a racial characteristic.)

the main reason I'd like to change chaos, is not because the team isn't balanced as it is. It works well, drawbacks and advantrages and all.

But, considering all the possibilities within all the Chaos, there could be som many cool teams. There should be more Chaos teams, but let's not go overboard either.

The chaos team is fine as it is, but it's boring.
And Honestly, all you're Chaos warriors wouldn't get foul apperance, trying to pull off a Nurglee Image. If you got that many doubles, they would have Claws, or razor sharp claws, or something else.

I think maybe a beastman team is a bit boring, but t might works.

I'd at least like to see some rules for the aspects. Khorne, Nurgle, Slaneesh and Tzchench(or however the F**k you spell it).
Khorne Warriors, frenzied killers.
NUrgle Warriors, tough ugly sons a bitches
Slannesh Warriors, more graceful, adept at ball handling gits
Tzchench Warriors, mystical and weird, gits.

And they absolutely hate eachother. Chaos gods fight eachother as assiduosly as anybody else, so the Chaos leagues may begin.
And fluffwise, I absolutely love it.

Demons might be used, as big guys or something. Don't think many Chaos fans would want Greater Demons on the pitch, cuz if the opposition were to have a chance, they would have to degrade their abilities so much, it's an insult to them. And if they didn't, both teams, nd the fans would easily die of terror, or whatnot. So no GD.

Maurauders, Beastmen and cultists could easily be incorporated. A cultist could be a doomed human thrower, who signed a pact with Chaos to, throw longer or whatever. People do weirder thing I suppose.

I think we should do more with Chaos. So many possibilities, so much fun. The more teams to choose from, the better. I love it.

Keep in mind if you do powers, you need undivided. I'd rather see a simple Warriors/ Beastmen split with Marauders filling out the Warriors and Bestigors and Minotaurs on the Beasties team. Position players would be nice too especially since fouling has been neutered (less SPPs).

Hi all,
personally I would not like to see teams for the 4 patron powers.
IMO, it's like having skaven teams for each clan, night goblin and forest goblin teams, etc. New teams are nice and all, but I don't want to drown in them.

That being said,
we actually had rules for the 4 powers for a few years.
However, in the end it was a bit too bland - chaos team with minor twists.

Hi all,
as mentioned previously, we have a daemon team roster.
So far, it has actually performed slightly below average, which led to some minor adjustments. Our 2 current teams are doing OK, but nothing too flashy.

The team consists of minor daemons only, and is organized so that none of the 4 powers dominate. Al have 0-4 players max, and all are equally powerful.
The teams strength is the high ST, but low AG and AV, coupled with no big guy ally offsets this advantage.

----Daemon roster----
0-4 80K plaguebearers 5417 Horn, Foul A., - G, PH
0-4 80K bloodletters 5427 Frenzy, - G, ST, PH
0-4 80K pink horrors 6337 block, big hand - G, PS, PH
0-4 80K daemonettes 7327 claw, gaze - G, AG, PH
80K rerolls (perhaps too expensive)
wizard & apothecary as normal

Optional special rule: on a skill roll with a difference of exactly 1 on the 2 dice, the player may choose to take a random physical ability.

I am surprised on how the poll is going. Maybe people are misunderstanding what i want. I don't want to make new teams with new powers. basically whole new teams, but do what they did with the undead. Just split them up cause they need spilting. Beastmen and chaos warriors don't seem to match
