See my thread on big guys in the tactics section. I am having problems dealing with them now other teams have them with block and pro and numerous other skills. They certainly don't need any more help.

Don't worry Norse ... I'm still fighting for ya! The MBBL2 version of the team has been tested quite a bit and it sure seems like it fixes all the old problems ... maybe someday it will be back.
I am OK with that... why is everybody else so worried about how much bang they get for their BG buck?? They should be a liability, live with it.... 8)
Well spoken Norse ... well spoken!

As for Martin/Plasmoid comment that its a cr*p mechanic ... oh get real Martin. Its a pretty darn simple mechanic that works. Has worked for a long time. I don't know of anything more simple that could be done to balance them. Really you three that voted yes so far (Toby, Plasmoid, KnuckleGutKiller) ... fighting this issue is tilting at windmills IMO.

Hi Galak,
I know I'm fighting a windmill.
Heck - I'm not even fighting it, just raising my voice at it ;)
I know it wont change.

And notice that I didn't say complex.
I just said cr*p - meaning that I really don't like it.
I think that team rerolls are a very basic element in the game, one that makes the game work so well, and cutting any players off from rerolls is -IMO - bad.

But it's not going to change - and I can live with that 8)
Martin :)

I'm here. See Norse, snots never really went away though, I too, would like to see a team list become official. Experimental would even do.

This I agree with 100%

No, even though my Mino has cost me some games.

the absolute ONLY reason I would be in favor of the change would be so the ogre team could use rerolls. However I don't want them to reroll bonehead. With no access to Block and no way to reroll block results I have had too many 1 action turns. Not really to bad of a problem but they have yet to win a game. Even when i play by myself.

My TR100 Ogre team is 0-5. Even vs. a halfling team they lost. I'm playing games with other individuals and advancing the ogres as normal each game but that's going slowly and it's too to see the future yet.

What if you give them the leader skill then? Or are you saying this should not be possible?
In that case, everyone in the team can use it except for them. That's how we've always played it over here.

I think it's gonna go that way, Darkson! I can't see the big oafs rallying.

I don't agree with Big Guys using re-rolls but I would like to see them added to the team lists (only one per team though)

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

No, No and no again.

The reason the Big Guy rules were introduced, were because they were too overpowered before. Why would we want to revert back to that

This doesn't belong here at all, other than a vauge referance to to teams that go no big guys got 2 more positional players.

So I'm just going to post it here, seeing as noone will agree with me anyway.

I'd like to see the woodelves lose the treeman and get to more wardancers instead.

Also, I'd like to point out that orcs get a big guy, 4 blitzers and 4 blackorcs, in light of that, give the woodies 2 more wardancers, and let them keep the treeman. ;)

You are all free to start eliing me how much you disagree, and think I'm stupid.

I could see giving them two more catchers if they lost the treeman, but two Wardancers is a bit much. Since you're talking about following patterns seen on other teams, look at the Skaven and their 4 Gutter Runners.

I would drop the treeman and give them nothing more. A wood elf team with 4 wardancers would be an atrocity. Wardancers are way too good, and their only weakness is that there are only two so it's possible to get rid of them.

Wood elves are one of the best teams around anyway, they need neither a treeman nor more than 8 positional players. Amazons have only 8 as well and no big guy, and nobody's complaining.
