Oh good, now we get rid of some of the best most original background for a gaming system, and replace it with generic D&D crap. :puke:

Warhammer and Blood Bowl are both GW games. GW only does games based in the Warhammer (and 40k variant) universe (with the single exception of the Lord of the Rings battle game).

If you want a bland generic fantasy football game, get Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro to make one. Most of the rest of us are happy with the current tying of Blood Bowl to Warhammer (at least in the background).

Blood Bowl is WFB Football, not Football with a bit of generic fantasy garbage thrown in!

Well I dont think that "classic" fantasy Team should dictate what is official or not. I liked the old Undead team and I like the Vampire team and the Necro Team.

Further More those 2 teams are "more" classic than the old Undead Team since you get Agyptian Theme Undead and the average Horror Movie Monsters seperated from each other.

So you have Stargate Villians vs. Michal Jackson and his Thrillers

Yay! Btw. I reserve the right to be the first person to call his Flesh Golem Michal Jackson ;)

HA old undead is gone. what I dont get is people are thinking undead are leaving. There here its called the necro team. Why would you have both necro and undead when they both almost ecatly the same

I dunno, 'cause Undead had Skeletons, and Mummies; and didn't have Flesh Golems and Werewolves?

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.

Not true. Those of us that have painted, fully staffed Undead teams will not be able to use them any longer, unless the roster is houseruled. But, if you houserule it, then you aren't really playing Bloodbowl. You are playing your own variant.

Experimental rosters are published in the BB Magazine or Annuals, and more than likely are revised, published again and possibly, at some point, made official, at which point they will make their entry to the Living Rule Book.

well, ok there is SOME denying it
but is it not worth seeing how these changes work and then correcting the flaws rather than simply saying "I like the undead and won't play if they're changed..."

IMO they needed tweaking, and changing them into 3 teams is as valid a way as the odd stat or skill change AND we get extra minis out of it

On the Games Workshop US site, the mummies are now listed as golems.
