Almost as many times as I've seen Trolls, Ogres, or Elves playing sports!

The Norse show as much skin as the bunny team! Come to think of it, lots of the figs are poorly proportioned, male or female. I know my friends aren't built like Thrudd.

I say theres nothing wrong with the figs. I wouldn't use them, but I wouldn't use GW Dwarf figs either. When people sculpt figs it is usually an idealized form. The chicks will be thin with big juggs as you said, and the guys will be big as hell, and cut. The more sources of figs the better, even if you find some distasteful.

Well do your friends play professional football? I don't have any friends who look like Evander Hollyfield either but his body isn't too different from Thrudd or the Norse and I don't see anytying on those figs as out of proportion as those elves. Where do you guys live? Can I come there and visit?

To be honest, it's not the big boobs that other me. It's how the women are portrayed in their figs. It's also the fact that the Norse, the Amazons, and Phil's Valkyries look armored and ready to fight. Yes, the norse have bare legs but they don't have giant bulges in their pants, and posed so that they are jutting their hips forward. A couple of thighs on a male don't compare to humungous juggs on a frame that couldn't even support that weight. If that elf was real there is no way she could walk!!!! let alone play sports!!!!! If the Norse huge pythons hanging to their knees I'd say you had an arguement but...

Well why not make the women cut and big as hell? Do you see any women shaped like that in Women's Soccer, Basketball, or Track N Field? I don't. They usually have broad shoulders, large thighs, and small breasts. Men, on the other hand, look similar to the Norse...maybe not Thrudd but he's supposed to be a huge monster!

Big Tits don't help you run...no matter what Baywatch has taught you.

Have to agree with Pariah. I've always found Shadowforge to be aiming for a niche in the marker I'm long past. I own a Bunny and Nun team but only to have a complete fantasy football collection. I'd never field a team that I wouldn't want my wife to see me playing; and I guess that for me is where Shadowforge's line ends up for me.

The Amazons are pretty heavily built as well, and have really ugly faces

My wife doesn't like their looks (and thought I really must have enjoyed painting them, whitch I didn't as they are bitches to paint, but that's another story)

Have you guys seen the GW Necromunda models for the Escher gang? Those ladies look tough yet feminine. Very nice IMHO...I doubt they'd make good conversion material, but I do see the cartoony-ness of the Shadowforge figs.

I still can't help thinking of a Monty Python-type scenario with a bunch of bruiser BB players looking forwad to the chance to settle some old scores against the Nuns from their childhood, only to get their a$$es handed to them from the Penguins...priceless.

Hmmm! Those chesty elves do resemble a sort of crappy manga porn (I've been told I wouldnt know myself  ). Wasnt there something in the Amazon Myth that one breast was amputated (for want of a better word) to aid with archery?
