What does Freak mean in your Language ?

Serious Question. I said Freak. NOT *Idiot* or something RUDE.

In german common speak, freak is a positive word. It says that you are spending your time with something verry unusual, or that you are absolutely keen on something.

Motorcycle-Freak. Sports-Freak.
Computer-Freak is almost showing respect that someone is verry good with computers and Technology.


I feel really offended when you try to lay wordy in my mouth that I DID NOT SAY. I never intended to start a Flame War, Mr. Deathwing.

And I meant it ... my idea of graphics for Blood Bowl has got to be a table top match in the TBBF or the Woodell League with fully painted teams.... you guys are d*mn impressive. No computer can ever match the beauty of a good fig .... that is truly my own opinion ... the masses are not required to agree with that statement.

admittedly, that probably covers most of us, but the way I read the post it came accross as an insult.

Hi Galak,
reminds me of a real issue.

It was suggested that at official EU arrangements, you'd only speak english or french.
However - noone was allowed to speak his native language.
Naturally, the clever suggestion got canned

Sweden and Britain are Euro free - thank God. we still have our Kronor!
(and don't forget that I'm a Brit abroad...)
(and that pretty much everyone here can speak fluent English)
