The Big New Idea

I just read the long book of what was Chet's New Big Idea (I wasn't on board when it went through the first time) and the thread seems to have petered off. It's not on Galak's list of discussion items for the BBRC -- did the whole thing just disappear?
The thread itself was also disappointing, I think. What started off as a fairly elegant and simple change became a complete uprooting and rewriting of almost all strength skills and strength-ish physical mutations, which I certainly can't think is a good idea. Did this whole idea come to naught?

Thankfully yes.
Every once in awhile Chet or Neo get a wild hair up their butt's that they need to completely rewrite the rulebook all over again.
I wish somebody would take the book away from them and give them electric shock everytime they stop working on either secret weaopons or a better weather table.

I actually like seeing new ideas. I even like to try and fine tune them. A good one can only help the game. Most, though, should get put right in the dumpster but I even like seeing those.

I'm thankful that the derivatives that the thread devolved into got killed, but I'm still thinking of using some slight modification of the core idea as a house rule. I think it's a great idea still.

Don't get me started with my Blood Bowl Pro idea. Uses 12 sided Blocking Dice and has more skills. Takes four days to play.
