Sorry if this is inappropriate for these boards guys our long running pc game review site has now started covering Table Top products and we thought you might find this and our upcoming first look at the rereleased boxed game would be of interest.[/url]

I think they are meant to be just "Elves" along the same lines as 2nd. Ed. I remember Jervis saying he wasn't to keen on the look of the 3rd Ed. High Elves at Resurrection, and wanted to have just Elves that you could use as either team. I could be wrong though, they might be sold as High Elves.

I do like that catcher model. That's my biggest problem with playing elves. The 3rd ed models look crap and the less said about the goddamn Duran Duran 2nd ed elves the better.

I have to disagree with you Marcus.

The 2nd Edition Elves look veerrry good. Not like the crappy Fantasy sh*t from the 3rd edition ...

They look too much Duran Duran to you (well I never liked the music) - hmm I think thats just an interpretation how elves could look like in a modern age aera.

I like the old mini's better too.
The catchers are slightly less goot looking though.

My WE team has all different players. I used old WH wardancers as lineelves.

Look pretty cool

I don't like most of the elven models so far, they should make proper different range for each elven race, one to be used for all will suck. This is why I haven't bothered collecting an elf team yet, I just don't like the miniatures, bad minis attract bad rolls and I get enough of them already ;]

They looked a bit like brets to me. But I think that's a mohikan I'm looking at - and that sounds promising. Those 2e elves are great looking. I'm tempted to start playing elves just because of them, even though I prefer running plays...

Why don't you just make an elf team out of converted LOTR minis?
