Just wondering how big the leagues you folk play in are. How many teams, how many players, how many games played in one season, highest rated team at end of league etc.
Care to share?

This is the e-league I´m currently playing. On the "real life" league we are just 7 coaches, including me.

Currently at 9 coaches, but we support a minor league system in which each coach can have two additional teams that can play half as many games as the majors, and have -1 on their earnings.

12 coaches split in 2 divisions. Its 10 games a season for league play, then the end tournament comes, so max 13 games a season (top 4 in each division go on to the tournament). We keep the teams after the season, so its not new teams each season.

I think our last count was 22 coaches, but not all of them are full time players. Interest is picking up again with the rerelease of BB on the horizon.

We have 7 coaches right now and for next season we've planned 2 conferences of 7 with smaller divisions amongst them, but for now its just the one league.

eleven teams, four players and two divisions

Premier league with six teams (10 matches)
First division with five teams (12 matches)

Next to this we play a cup where seven teams fight for 4 places in the quarter final and four teams (last years' semi final players) are seeded.

I and one other player have four teams (the fourth is for anyone to play) one has 2 and the fourth has just one

Works quite well

The league is organized much as a soccer league would be

Currently 13 coaches in two leagues (minor for new teams and major for old ones). Seasons last 6 to 8 games + playoffs.

We've just finished our Autumn league. 14 coaches, 14 teams, most games played: 24, fewest games played: 2 (!). Average number of games played: 11. Highest Team Rating (given all teams were 100 rated at start of season): 297.

We also have a super-league of more experienced teams carried on from previous seasons. This season comprised of 8 such teams, playing each other once according to a fixture list.

We just finished an 8 team/8 coach season with 10 games plus playoffs. We're heading into a 5 team/coach minor league season to get some newer coaches up to speed.

We'll have 10 coaches for our next major season.

We just finished our Spike! cup and will be headed into the second tournament of our Major league in January. We have about 14 coaches currently, and a few more sniffing around the edges waiting to join.
We are a new league, though and still figuring out our seasons. Currently we use a Tournament style, two divisions, 6-8 games each coach, best four go to semis then finals.

I can't speak for the other guys TRs, but after I won Spike! *ahem* (pats himself on the back) my TR was sitting at 301 with 18-1 record. This was after two full tournaments, both considered to be in Season Two.

This is a dumb question but how do I get started in playing online? What do I need and where do I get it? How are you able to play online? Is it live or is it you move then I move(that would take quite long) Is it hard to play online? I am new so it might help me get somemore exp.
