Should Big Guys be allowed to use Team ReRolls.

Should Big Guys be allowed to use Team ReRolls.
I vote for removing the Big Guy Trait from the Game and adding the Big Guy Players to the team lists they are allied with.

What if you give them the leader skill then? Or are you saying this should not be possible?Zombie wrote:Actually, big guys shouldn't even be allowed to use leader rerolls. You should have added that to your choices.
Either way I think things are fine as they are. If you go down this road then WA becomes little more than an annoyance..

I agree with them being allowed to use re-rolls but under 1 of 2 circumstances.
1. The negative traits are not re-rollable. Once the player fails the trait then his action is over (or out of control of the coach etc.)..or
2. The numbers needed for passing neg traits is increased. (Bonehead becomes 4+ and Stupid becomes 6+)
Or you could also put a penalty on the reroll of those traits. Like -2 or something.

I agree with Zombie that Big Guys probably shouldn't have the use of leader and tournament rerolls. Even if a BG gets Leader, he can inspire others to play well while not preforming well himself.

Hi all - I'll just chime in here:
IMO, players not being able to use rerolls is an absolute cr*p machanic. I really dislike the way it leaves the best laid plan to luck. (Sure, all plans have to rely on luck, but the team reroll mechanic greatly remedies this).
I didn't like the reroll less allies, and I don't like reroll less big guys.
It is be possible to attain balance by means of some other mechanic. (whether to do so or not is ofcourse entirely up to you - and I can see that most people here disagree with me).
IMO,
*the big guys should be able to use rerolls.
*Keep the negaskills as they are (though WA needs changing/loss of frenzy).
*Cut mighty blow from the big guys, as the "price" for using rerolls.
*Remember that the teams that didn't get BGs got 2 extra position players, so there is limits to have bad the BGs should be.
[Admitted, piling on may be a problem, but I think that the problem is with PiOn, not with the big guys per se.]
all this entirely IMO - ofcourse

You'll never get me to support bringing back the old broken Snots?
Not quite sure why you are so angry either, go have a

I still feel BGs are OK as they are. The fact they cannot use re-rolls means I don't use them as the lynch pin in my tactic unless it is a last gasp thing... In 25 games my Ogre has scored 1 TD.. he spends a lot of his time scratching his head and doing little else.. I am OK with that... why is everybody else so worried about how much bang they get for their BG buck?? They should be a liability, live with it....
