The Worst Feeling in Blood Bowl

I think the worst feeling has to be when you have to reroll a double pow, because you're trying to one turn score and need a push. That just hurts.

Runner-up: When a player who just got his sixth star player point dies immediately afterwards.

What else feels that bad?

When you sit down opposite someone who you know is gonna get a sulk on if they dont win. Ruins all the fun of a game.

Working really hard to stop the opponents drive get to half time 0-0. Turn 9, your receive. Blitz.

Opponents who only take note of your 6s and their 1s.

When you win the game, it is because you were very lucky with your dice. If they win, it is despite all the 1s they rolled and thanks to their superior tactics.

It's a game using dice, everybody playing blood bowl should accept this fact and smile at it !

I recently was in a game where on turn 8 I could just pass and end the half but elected to take a safe triple dice-block with a Wardancer to maybe get an extra KO or Cas before the next half. I only rolled a push on the 3 dice, and since I had a spare reroll I thought why not?

Reroll comes up triple skulls - and the WD is knocked out and doesn't come back for the second half :)

That was pretty bad.

I do have to agree with the various sportsmanship comments though as that's what really ruins a game. That, and bystanders interjecting with rules clarifications that aren't actually right.

Failing a GFI with a re-roll into the end zone on the last turn of the game to win or draw.

Go on tell me if I was a better player I would have put my players in a scoring position earlier so as to limit the dice rolling needed and increasing the satistical chance of me winning the game. Well I'm not a better player so there! Farming dice arrrrgh! And on the outside i'm like shacking hands and saying well done good game. Inside is like I Farming hate this raaaaaagh!!! Smash! feel like tipping the facking table, going to the bar.

lol not you. In fact, considering you passed 1 in 12 KO rolls, you took that beating quite well :p

I find it hilarious when my opponent sulks. Makes the game much more fun.

Sann your blessed, I need to get some tips on how to get my kids into games. I liked the one in your interview on the Double Skulls pod cast of using a D6 whilst the kids use a D8. Nice might try that one with mine.

The dice are averaging by your opponent rolling mostly 4-6 while you roll mostly 1-3, AND every kick off result screws you to the wall thus eliminating any chance of staying "in the game".... :?:
