The most irritating way to go out of a tournament

OK this is a bit of a quest for sympathy, but hopefully it'll spark lots of other people to moan about their near misses and will provide amusement for all.
Anyway I was recently in a knock-out cup semi-final pitting my mighty Orcs against the only team to have beaten me in the league running up to the Cup: Soteck's Pyramid Builders a Lizardman team with some of the most annoying skinks (one has guard, I ask you!) ever.
Every turn was cut and thrust, with careful moves being made and every die roll beheld with trepidation. Despite being out-gunned in terms of strength we held him to 0-0 in the first half, with him receiving and being in posession until about turn 7 (when I finally got a crack at a skink).
Then I receive in the next half, and it all goes down the tubes
.
Bottom line I failed to score, despite some valiant ball-handling action by my Ogre, and only narrowly avoided my opponent sneaking a TD in himself!
We go to overtime, he receives again, but it seems luck is with me when he fails a bonehead roll meaning there's only a saurus between my blitzer and the ballcarrier! OF course I rolled double skulls to block him. I still held him to a 0-0 finish and it all came down to a straight D6 roll for the match. He won, I lost, he won the Chaos cup and 350'000 gold am I bitter?
But seriously, is that or is that not the worst way ever to go out of a tornament?
