Fantasy or Football?

I was wondering, which of the two components do you think should have more weight when developing new teams, stadium rules, etc..? Do you think the approach should be more on the "fantasy" part or in the "football" part?
A "fantasy" approach could give us more unique position players and teams; however, we risk to end with a "Fantasy Battles with a ball" game, so Blood Bowl would lost its "feeling".
On the other hand, a heavily "football" approach could make Blood Bowl stand apart of its bigger brother (WFB); but the teams may lose that "special" players which gives each team its "gimmick", and so teams would end looking all the same.
PD: I made a search about this before posting, but it didn't help. If there ever was this kind of poll, I'd like to know where to find it.
