What happened next

Something strange happened yesterday.
I told my wife about the BBTournament and mentioned going next year, or going to another tourny, Spike or the French one, and she didn't even react like she does when I normally mention BB.
She even said she understood!!
Boy was I baffled.
I guess I'll be there then next year

call your credit card company, she probably just bought something she's feeling guilty for spending money on, probably shoes, that's usually when new gaming stuff creates the least trouble

The tone was really very much like: 'Hey, that's a good idea!!'
I think she thinks she'll get a hollyday / free weekend in GB.
All she will be allowed to do is sit next to me and enchant the dice.
Or be photographed and get a thread just as long as Squiggot's cheerleader

sometimes they surprise you, i got to use part of our honeymoon in europe to meet with some mini contacts i'd only ever been able to deal with remotely... but then, that did give her time to shop unescorted, so maybe _she_ was the one taking the opportunities there...

Mine did the exact same thing. The only thing she really said that could even remotely be view as against the idea of going to England was that she'd like me to start a little closer to home. US/Canada West coast preferably.
When I mentioned Toronto she got a faraway look and said she wouldn't mind seeing that place again.
