Bloodbowl 40k?

Hey...just got my copy of Previews magazine which for those of you who don't know basically lists all new products coming out 2 months from now available to comic retailers.
In the games section was a new game from Hasbro known as Battleball.
The synopsis is as follows
"Fast-paced, easy to learn, and featuring over 20 highly detailed miniatures, Battleball is a futuristic battling football game for 2-4 players, ages 8 and up. Scheduled to ship in may2003"
The ad also features a picture from which I have guessed the following info. They display the miniatures which either come painted or are paintable because they have nice paintjobs. Interestingly enough the bases also appear to be color coded for all you base ring fanatics. The appear to be several different types of position players for each team including a "big guy" robot type large figure. The board is gridded, although it is not easy to tell whether it is square or hexed from the picture. It also appears to come with several different polyhedral dice.
It may not be actual 40k bloodbowl, but its probably the closest thing. It'll be interesting to see what the response will be from the adds among the BB community, and what the response is once the game is actually played.
What does everyone think?
