A friend of mine has painted and wants to play a team with this line up. What do you think of it?
1 Norse thrower
2 Norse blitzers
4 Ghouls
3 Tomb Guardians
6 Norse linemen
I have already pointed out that it mixes 3 races, but he has painted it so nicely that I am very tempted to let him play it. Am I being too soft? Its also a very strong starting line up.

oooh ooh can i play in your league? I'll make an all elf team. It will have 2 wardancers, 2 wood elf throwers, 4 high elf catchers, 4 dark elf blitzers, and 0-12 high elf linemen!

Sounds fair to me!

I thought so. So your saying I need to be mean and tell him to go and paint an Official team? Maybe it was that Indian he bribed me with.

Tomb Guardian? I must have missed that one. Where can I find it?

or let him play with the figs he ve painted but force hm to choose a "standard" roster, then apply the stat of the standard roster to the figs he own.

I mean you can call a norse receiver like you want (even "ghoul") as long as he stays 6337 catch, block.

Good idea. I like it!! Tomb Guardians btw are Khemri.

Khemri could have human allies since some tomb king towns/cities have human settlers/nomads living in them, according to the warhammer fluff

I think your friend is an Idiot :D

That 'starting' team has 16 players, 5 of which are Blitzer type players, 12 have Block, 4 have dodge. Tell him to grow up and pick a proper team, not pick players from various rosters that he likes.

He could have thought (and asked) about that before he started painting...

If he can paint those players that nicely, he can finish the 3 teams he's just started painting and field a proper team.

I'd like to field Dwarven linemen, Orc Blitzers, and Gutter Runners, and Elven throwers but I can't. Tell him he can't just pick the best of another team's roster and call it good.

Well I won't quite be so blunt and as rude as that Tamper since he is a close friend and I am only just re-building a League after being very ill. He has already agreed to base his players on an existing line up.

You could always just give him an exhibition game with them, maybe then he'll also see how unfair the team is.

I played him with my very experienced DE team, and although I won 3-1 he intercepted 3 times and it was close untill the end. I pointed out that a starting team against a team of 294 SPP's should not be that close. I think that was what persuaded him to go Official.
