No cash league?

hey guys,

i am interested in creating a league but i would like to try and set one up in which money would not be used to buy new players.

now the set up would be easy (everyone would start with the same cash etc) but its how to introduce new players that would be interesting. i kinda like milos draft rules but its mid-season replacements that i think would prove troublesome.

anyone have any rough ideas as to how a league like this could be set up and maintained that would allow the lowere AV teams to stay competitive with their slightly rougher brethren?

thanks for any and all suggestions...

I guess I'm just a little hazy on why you'd like to do this. Do roving bands of Woodies cone by and join decimated teams?

How about adding to the league...

"If at the end of a match a team has 6 or more empty slots on the team roster they may add a basic lineman to the team"

If you have the 2ed Star Players book, it has rules for running teams without the use of cash (made a roll after game to see if you could attract more players, or something like that).
